Kasce: Kasce looked at the beaver dam Harper had led him and Ryker too. We can't take anything from the dam." He sighed before turning away from it and looking around the surrounding area. He could make out a few dead trees off to the side and walked over to them to examine their condition. He surveyed each one carefully, before grinning slightly. The tree wasn't thick and was relatively dry, considering how close it was to the water. "This one will do." He called to Ryker.
Lyra: With a sigh, Lyra shifted to look at Kira. "Being down and sad about everything that just happened isn't going to help anyone." she said before getting up. "Don't interpret this as me telling you to be happy and joyful, because I'm not. However that doesn't mean you should stay sad and curled up in a ball wishing things went differently. Now I'm going to quickly grab some more firewood, so watch Sylvia." With that said Lyra set off into the woods.

Ghiir: He smirked as Harper plucked the fish out of the water. "Pretty good... It almost looks like you've been pack-taught..." He remarked, kneeling down beside her and watching the water. The first fish he saw that was close enough became future food as he plunged his hand through the water and grabbed it. He pulled it out, and it was the same fish Harper had gotten, only his was bigger. "I think I may have won." He smirked, looking over at Harper. He noticed how good she looked, even if she looked like she'd been through hell and back. In fact, she seemed down right sexy. He picked a semi strong stick up off the ground and stabbed it into the ground, before skewering the fish he had onto the stick. He did this for the several other fish he caught. "How many do you think we need?" He asked, figuring she'd know better if she was from the group.

Kira huffed and continued staring into the fire. "It's not like I've shut down...." She felt slightly insulted, but she shrugged it off. It had been a stressful day, more so than any other she'd had in a long time, in fact. Kira sighed and looked over at Sylvia, watching the rise and fall of her chest. She was just thankful the girl was still breathing.
Ryker sighed and walked over to where Kasce was standing by the tree. He had a small armful of some decent sized branches that he'd managed to cut down with his new knife. He observed the tree. "Well, I hope you've got an ax hidden behind your back. My knife is sharp, but I don't think it can get through this." Ryker sighed to himself. The tree wasn't too thick, of course, and a well aimed, strong kick could probably snap it.
Harper shook her head. "Not pack taught. Survival taught." she scoffed and rolled her eyes with a slight grin as Ghiir pulled out the bigger fish. "It's not a competition, jackass." With a soft sigh, she skewered her fish on the stick as well, before catching 2 more and doing the same to them. She surveyed the catch with a satisfied smile. "That should do it..."

Ghiir: "Just saying, that's how all the packs I've seen do it... But whatever." He shrugged, standing up and pulling the stick out of the ground, careful not to let any of the fish fall off. "Lead the way, Princess." He smirked, deciding that was now his nickname for her.

Kasce: "If I had an ax than it would have made more sense for me to just cut down a tree close to where the fire is." He responded kicking at the tree slightly. He moved back and kicked at the tree's base to hide his legs shadow constricting around the tree's base. Kasce's foot connected and the wood snapped shattered. Kasce quickly grabbed the tree before it could hit the ground. "May need your help with this." he said readjusting his standing position to take the tree's weight off his back.

Ryker sighed and shook his head with a slight grin. "I was being sarcastic Kasce. But yeah, I'll give you a hand, no problem." He shifted his bundle of branches to his left arm before walking over and lifting up one end of the tree. "You take that end, I'll get this one."
Harper rolled her eyes at the nickname. "Haven't even known you a day, and you've already given me a damn nickname... Why am I not surprised...?" She smiled slightly and grabbed the stick with her fish on it before turning and heading back in the direction of camp. "Follow me gear head."

Ghiir: Ghiir chuckled at his new nickname, following Harper. "Well I just based your nickname on the personality you've shown me so far..." He said, knowing full well the nickname was an ironic name, seeing as how hostile she was. Then again, he found her at least a little nice. Being hostile was probably just the way she was. Once they arrived at the camp, Ghiir spotted another werewolf girl sleeping next to a fire, and a girl sitting next to her. "You said there was about six of you... Wheres the rest of the group?" He asked, looking down at Harper.

Kasce: "Never been good at telling if someone was sarcastic or not." Kasce responded, shifting slightly so that he was now carrying the tree rather than just supporting it. "Alright, let's head back." He said setting off.

Harper shrugged. "The guys, Kasce and Ryker, are out getting fire wood and shit like that. I'm not sure where Lyra went, though..." She stuck the end of the stick in the ground and looked over at Kira. "How's she doing Kira?"
Kira looked up at the sound of Harper's voice and eyed her new companion for a moment before looking at Harper. "She seems stable, but I'm not much of a healer or anything like that." She sighed and looked over at Sylvia, hoping she'd wake up soon.
Ryker just chuckled and followed Kasce, carrying his own end of the tree. He had it positioned on his shoulder with one hand while carrying his bundle of branches in his other hand.

Ghiir: Ghiir guessed the unconscious girl was the source of Kira's sadness. Ghiir decided not to ask anything about it, thinking it'd only make things worse. "Any idea when Kasce and Ryker'll be back?" He asked, stabbing her stick into the ground next to Harper's.
Sylvia: Sylvia awoke with a gasp, and strangely, she felt fine. She sat up quickly, and looked around. Relief set in when she realized where she was, and who was next to her. "Kira..." Sylvia smiled tiredly, before smelling a new scent. She turned to look at Ghiir and tilted her head. "W-who are you...?" She asked, wondering how long she was out for.

Kasce: He could smell the smoke from the fire. The tree, while smallish, still weighed down greatly. "Set it down here." Kasce said setting his end of the tree down only a few feet from the fire. Turning to face everyone and took notice that Sylvia was awake now, and that the group now had somone new in it. He didn't like this, without the necomer, Kasce had been pushed far out of his comfort zone. He still didn't know anyone other than Lyra and partially Harper. As he had always done, Kasce hid any eotion from his face and silently passed by the groupinly saying "Good to see you're awake." to Sylvia before grabbing his bag and moving back over to the tree.
Lyra: She could only barely smell the smoke from the fire as she ventured further away, a bundle of dry fire wood in her arms. She couldn't help but dwell on what she said to Kira. She hadn't intended to be crass. Things had just seemed to hit her all at once. With a sigh she sat down under a tree, the budle of wood laid next to her, and sat there knee's to her chest, arms folded hiding her face.

Harper looked over at Ghiir to respond right as Kasce and Ryker returned with a small tree. "Well, there they are." She turned her attention back to Sylvia and smiled. "Good to see you're awake. You really scared Kira. I was pretty worried myself. Also, this guy here is Ghiir. I found him while I was wondering around. He helped me catch the fish."
Kira smiled brightly and hugged Sylvia. "You're ok!" She pulled back and looked at her. "No more random collapsing, ok? You nearly gave me a heart attack." Kira chuckled a bit to show Sylvia she was kidding, but Kira had been legitimately worried about her. She was a friend now, and Kira was determined to not lose anymore friends. Speaking of friends... Kira turned and looked at Harper and her new friend. "Your name's Ghiir, huh? Well, it's nice to meet you." She smiled slightly, before looking over at Ryker. "So, you guys brought back firewood, I see."
Ryker nodded and sat down his bundle of branches by Kira after dropping his end of the tree. "Yeah, we did." He glanced around their small camp and noticed one missing. "Where's Lyra?" Kira shrugged. "She wandered off a bit ago, right before Harper and Ghiir showed up, I think. She hasn't been back yet, but I wouldn't say there's any need to worry yet." Ryker nodded as Kira spoke and looked out into the woods. He turned and looked over at Kasce. "Want me to go look for her? Or should we leave her be?"

Kasce: "I'm still not sure where you arrived at the idea that I was getting firewood. This is for a platform to get off the ground at night." Kasce said setting his backpack down next to small tree and opened it. He reached inside and pulled out a small bronze amulet with what would appear to be a large crystal in the center of it. Setting it aside he looked at Ryker. "Go ahead and look, but I would like to borrow your knife while you're gone." Kasce answered.

Sylvia: Sylvia felt a little hurt when Kasce seemed like nothing had happened. She didn't want to be selfish or anything, but she DID just collapse randomly. Kira, on the other hand, made her feel absolutely loved. Sylvia chuckling shakily and nodded at Kira, but didn't bother to respond any further since Kira seemed to be talking to the guys. Sylvia looked at Harper, before glancing at Ghiir. "Oh... Where did you find him?" She asked, looking him over. Ghiir looked cute... Hell, he looked hot. Especially in the light of the fire.
Ghiir: "I ran into her while she was looking for food or something. She decided to bring me along after we caught the fish." Ghiir replied, smirking as he remembered how he caught the bigger fish. Sylvia was a cute little thing, he felt sorry that she could've possibly been hurt.

Harper twitched a bit and started roasting the fish she had caught, angling them in a way that they would cook without her having to hold them. She did the same with the stick of fish Ghiir had caught before sitting down in front of the fire. She took down her ponytail and threaded her fingers through her hair since she didn't have a brush. After a minute or so, she put her hair back up and stared into the fire. She had of course noticed the look Sylvia had given Ghiir. Harper growled at herself as her tail flicked behind her. She didn't want to admit it, even in the confines of her mind, but she was just a tad jealous. In regards to appearance, Harper had nothing on Sylvia. She was lithe, she was adorable, and she probably wasn't physically stronger than a lot of guys. Harper laid her ears back and sighed before rotating the fish.
Kira sighed. "Sorry, Kasce. I thought it was firewood." She chuckled a bit and looked over at Ghiir. "Well, if you're friendly, I don't see why you can't stick around." She noticed Harper's mood, and she glanced over at her. She couldn't quite place the emotion rolling around in the depths of her eyes, but it didn't look like a pleasant one. Kira sighed and smiled slightly. "Those fish smell great Harper. Thanks for getting them. You too, Ghiir." Harper looked up at her and nodded. "They should be done soon..." Kira watched her turn back to the fire and rest her chin on her knees. Something was off about her.
Ryker nodded after a moment and handed over his knife. If worse came to worse, and he needed a weapon, he had his controls. "Ok, I'll be back." With a slight sigh, he stuck his hands in his coat pockets and wandered into the woods. He wondered where she could have gone. "Lyra?" He looked around as he stepped over a few roots. It was starting to get dark, and it would be really inconvenient if she got lost in the dark. Something told him though, she wasn't the type to get lost.

Kasce: "No need to apologize, it was a miscommunication, save the apology for another time, if that time were to ever come. Thank you. " He said turning from Kira to Ryker and taking the knife. With Knife in hand, Kasce grabbed the lower half of his pant's legs and cut them off before setting them to the side. They would make at least semi good ties for holding parts of the platform together. Turning his attention the tree, he began cutting away at any loose branches that would only get in the way. "Well look at you. You're actually traveling with people." Tego said, walking out from behind a tree. "Could it be that you're actually learning to get along with others. Oh, happy day. My little boy is finally growing up." The being sung in a mocking tone. Kasce focused on the task before him, ignoring Tego to the best of his ability. "Still not talking to me around others. Y'know for someone who is so untrusting of others, you really do seem to care a lot about what they think of you." Tego continued, as he leaned against a tree, smiling. Kasce but couldn't help but be distracted by him and Tego knew it. "Careful, or you'll cut yourself." Tego grinned, as the knife slipped on the last branch and cut Kasce's hand. On reflex, Kasce drew his hand back and let out a small noise form the sharp pain. He shook shook it a bit and wiped his hand on his shirt before examining the cut. It was on the back of his left hand and didn't seem to be that deep. Kasce looked up and glared at Tego, who just smiled back.

Ghiir: Ghiir nodded once more at Kira. "No problem, just helping out. And I'd love to travel with you guys, I've always preferred being with a group." Ghiir smiled, before looking back to Sylvia. "So, what exactly happened to you?" He asked, walking over and sitting next to Sylvia.
Sylvia: Sylvia immediately thought back to the girl she saw. "I-I don't know... I was just walking, and suddenly I get a bad headache. Then I fell over and fell unconscious. That's all I remember." She lied, remembering her vivid dreams, or nightmares, about killing people... And... Other terrible things. Sylvia began losing her apatite, so she tried not to think about it.

Kira looked over as Kasce made a small sound and her eyes were drawn to the blood. "You ok Kasce? I could stitch that up for you, make sure it doesn't get infected if you want me to." She didn't like thinking of one of the members of her new little group being injured, even if it was minor.
Ryker sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He continued his trek through the woods and as he came around a tree, he saw her huddled at the base of a tree. Silently, he walked up and leaned against the tree. "I have to say, I think it's a bit dangerous for you to be out here by yourself." He looked over and down at her. "Are you ok?"

Kasce: Looking up at the mention of the cut, he shook his head. "It's nothing to worry about. It doesn't need stitches, it would only seem that way because of the bleeding." He responded before turning back to the job at hand, refusing to acknowledge the fact that Tego was there.
Lyra: She looked up in acknowledgement of Ryker. "I don't know. I want to say yes, but with everything that happened, I just don't know." she said not really caring how she sounded at the moment.

Sylvia & Ghiir: Both Sylvia and Ghiir glanced over to Kasce when Kira mentioned his cut, but both found nothing to say about it. It was beginning to get pretty dark, and cold. Sylvia felt particularly cold tonight, mostly just because of her recent trauma. "Ghiir? I-I um... You wanna... I'm cold..." Sylvia mumbled, the fire was warm, but that still didn't help her with her other problems. Right now, she just wanted someone to comfort her, and Ghiir seemed nice enough to do that. "I want to... What?" Questioned Ghiir, looking over at Sylvia whilst raising his brow. After a moment of Sylvia blushing slightly, he smiled softly and patted the ground next to him. Sylvia was glad he took the hint, she didn't want to have to ask out right... She was never good with that, nor had she any practice. Sylvia scooted over next to him, and hesitantly leaned against him. Ghiir smirked down at her. She must be the most adorable thing he'd ever seen, and he just couldn't help but to wrap his arm around her. With all that had happened to her, he was glad he could help in some way. Besides... This wasn't such a bad thing anyway. Sylvia's blush brightened a little when Ghiir put his arm around her, but she didn't at all protest.

Kira chuckled and shook her head. "I wasn't actually going to stitch it Kasce. I was basically going to cauterize it." She grinned. "Fire, remember? Plus it would sterilize it, no matter how minor of a cut it is." She vaguely wondered if miscommunication was always a thing with Kasce.
Ryker shrugged. "If you're not ok, why say yes? And honestly, if you'd said yes, I'd have probably thought you were crazy." He looked back over at her. "You wanna talk about it? That helps sometimes."
Harper looked over in time to see Ghiir put his arm around Sylvia, and she felt herself bristle slightly. That surprised her. So she did what she did best; she hid. Harper scoffed shortly as she stood and dusted her pants off. "Get a room." The remark was of course intended for Ghiir and Sylvia. Without waiting to hear if they said anything in response, Harper walked over to one of the tallest trees in the area and scaled it quickly with ease, reaching the top in a matter of seconds. She shivered harshly against the cold, but she hunkered down on the side of the tree that would block the wind from her. She sighed as she curled up, and glanced down at the fire through the tree line. Harper knew why she was jealous. She could even think of a couple reasons. For one, and she found this one mildly childish, she had seen him first. That one really irked her because he hadn't even been around an entire day. The second one made a lot more sense to her. As a werewolf, she had her human side, and then she had her more animal like nature. Ghiir was the first male werewolf she'd met since she was 6, and seeing him go for another female, by wolf standards, meant she was the undesirable of the two of them. Harper frowned and looked down at herself. "Great. So, now, not only am I jealous fucking bitch, I'm having self esteem issues....." She mumbled to herself. 'I am not a damn teenager anymore, I should be past this bullshit...' She thought. As a gust of wind picked up rather harshly, she bit her lip and wrapped her arms around herself. "Fuck, that's cold...." "Would you like my jacket?" Harper turned quickly at the sound of a slightly peppy voice and found herself staring into blue eyes. The girl was average height she guessed and crouched on the branch next to her, much like a cat would sit. Harper noticed the cat ears atop her head twitch slightly and she cocked her head to the side. A slightly fluffy cat tail swished around behind her. "Well? Do you want it?" Harper snapped out of her observation and focused back on the girl. "I... Uh, I couldn't ask you to do that. I mean, I don't even know you..." The girl giggled before pulling her jacket off. "Don't worry about it! You looked like you were freezing and I'm used to cold temperatures like this." She draped the jacket around Harper's shoulders and smiled. "There you go~! Bye now!" Harper watched, stunned, as the girl turned and leaped away, from tree to tree until she was out of sight. She blinked and looked at the coat around her shoulders. She smiled slightly and put her arms through the sleeves and zipped it up. Her mood had just gotten ten times better thanks to some random little werecat girl.

Kasce: Kasce had never understood the reason to use expressions and say something other than what a person meant. "That may be counter intuitive. I'd have to wait for the cut to stop burning and need to get it to cool water immediately after which would take more time than just continuing." Kasce replied taking the knife and cutting a strip from one of the sections of his pants he'd cut off, and used it to tie some of the Platform in place. "If I seem to be crass or rude, I apologize. I don't intend to be, it's just how I am and that fact has saved my life a few times." He said continuing his work.
Lyra: "I want to say yes because I've been taking care of Kasce for the past three years. Trust me when I say that if you someone is injured or feeling bad and he knows, he'll start acting like a kid trying to do everything he could to help to the point of being annoying. So it's just become habit to show myself as being stronger than I am." Lyra started chuckling slightly at recalling how Kasce would act. "The only reason he wasn't like that with Sylvia is because she was unconscious so it's better to make the area more comfortable when they wake up, or at least that's how it goes for him. That is why I want to say that I am okay."

Name: Nyroe Gender:Male Age: 96 (32 in Human years) Species: Dragon (Western) Affiliation: Civilian Personality: Mature, to an extent. Always willing to kid around, though of course, he will be serious when needed. Tends to try and avoid violence, unless he has to protect his friends, or if it can't be avoided. Friendly for the most part, but can be a little rude to people if they seem rude, suspicious, or down right mean. Appearance: Muscular, six foot two. Has dark green eyes, with jagged yellow patterns surrounding his reptilian pupil (Like a cats pupil). Has short, black shaggy hair, usually left all messy. Has the ability to change his hands into dragon claws, he can also grow dragon wings when he needs too. (Dragon form: 25 feet tall, and about 40 feet long from head to tail. A row of jagged spine bones stick out down along his neck, down to the tip of his tail. Has two horns jutting backwards out of his head. Has dark green scales, and a jet black under body. His claws are also black. Very muscular form. The jagged yellow part of his eyes is bigger and more pronounced.) Other/ important information: In dragon form, his muscular stature allows him to accomplish things not many other dragons can do. This goes for his human form too, as he is stronger than Humans and Tiers like most dragons. Has no apparent resemblance to a dragon in human form, other than his reptilian-like pupils. Can blow searing hot fire in dragon form. Has poisonous blood.
Nyroe: Nyroe sighed, poking at the fire with a stick he found. "When is she gonna be back..." He mumbled to himself, yawning a little. Alissa had left a while ago, and he was hoping she didn't get lost or anything. She never normally got lost, and he wasn't worried about someone hurting her. She always was able to handle herself.
Ghiir: He looked over at Harper leaving, smirking a little. "Jealous?" He called after her, but it was too late seeing as how she was already up her tree. He looked down at Sylvia, smirking at her now intensified blush.
Sylvia: Sylvia laughed nervously, really feeling awkward. "This is normal... Right?" She asked Ghiir, looking up with shy eyes. "Of course it is, she's just being grumpy or something." Ghiir replied, chuckling a little.

Name: Alissa Age: 25 Species: Werecat Affiliation: Previously, Knights; currently, civilian Personality: Shy around guys, unless it happens to be Nyroe. Very cheerful and peppy if she's comfortable around people. Tends to be slightly klutzy if she tries to move too fast, or starts rushing. Doesn't like being around people who seem rude or otherwise mean. If someone's mad at her, she shrinks away and won't talk to anyone. Doesn't like being the center of attention. Appearance: About average build, five foot six. Light blue eyes with a mixture of light and dark brown hair. Lightish tan cat ears and tail. (Werecat form: Dark brown fur with light brown streaks throughout it. Actually shifts to a large-ish bobcat form.) Other: Is very stealthy and silent when she needs to be, and is very curious about a lot of thing. Extremely agile and fast.
Alissa smiled as she saw the light from the fire Nyroe had started. She landed on a low branch, and yelped as it snapped and she fell butt first into the dirt. She cringed and rubbed at her back. "Owww...." She smiled up at Nyroe as her tail swished behind her. "I'm back, Nyroe~." She was happy that she could help the girl that had been in the tree. She had looked so sad, and cold, Alissa just couldn't help but talk to her.
Kira just shook her head and chuckled, remembering the conversation she'd had with Lyra. She sighed and built the fire up a bit more, spreading the warmth. "Don't worry about it Kasce. It may just take some getting used to." She smiled slightly and held her hands up to the fire.
Ryker raised an eyebrow as he looked at Lyra. "Well, one thing I've learned is that appearing stronger than you are gets tiring. And I'm not Kasce." He smiled slightly. "You don't have to say that you're ok around me for anyone's benefit."
Harper pulled the jacket a bit tighter around her and nestled against the tree. She had of course heard Ghiir call after her, but there was no way she was going to reply. She wished she could disappear, and just leave. She sighed and hopped down, branch to branch before she landed on the ground. She didn't look at anyone as she moved over to her weapons bag and pulled it along to the other side of the fire. She could slightly see Ghiir and Sylvia on the other side of the flames but she didn't dwell on it. She focused on her task at hand. She reached into her bag and got out her blade sharpener and a few of her good knives. She slid on her fingerless gloves and started running the blade of her first knife over the sharpener. Harper didn't raise her eyes from her task and she went through her knives, sharpening each one before placing the blade of one on her finger. She didn't slide it, or anything, merely lifted it off her finger. She watched, amused as little beads of blood formed and she licked her finger. "Perfect..." She mumbled. She smiled a bit and pulled her sword over and turned her side to the fire instead of her front. She observed the blade, taking in the small details and little dings it had acquired through its previous use when she'd had a person break into her shop. She slid the sharpener down the blade, enjoying the sound it made as she did so. This always relaxed her. She smiled as she looked at her reflection in the blade, and pushed her bangs away from her face to see more clearly.

(So as of now, Ghiir is being a bit creepy and Harper is acting like a psycho. Things have escalated quickly.)
Lyra: "Well old habits die hard." she replied. She stood up and grabbed the bundle of wood next to her. "Though I wasn't originally trying to be strong for you. So lets go back I have to apologize to someone."
Kasce: After working for a while Kasce stood up and looked down at his work. The platform was steady and for the most part the part to lay on was flat. He'd had nothing left of the lower portions of his pants. Moving over to the fire he sat down about equidistant from Sylvia and Harper. "the platforms done for anyone that wants to sleep. It may not be the most comfortable but it'll keep you off the ground. So whens the fish ready?" he said completely oblivious of the tension in the air.
