Kasce & Lyra:
"Alright. I'm going to go see what happened next door now." Kasce said pushing in his chair. As he left Lyra grabbed his arm and looked him in the eyes. "Why did you pay her?" She asked, baffled by what happened. Her mind raced over every single possibility. "She let me stay at her home last night after you forgot that I was getting back." Kasce replied. "Ah" Lyra remarked, letting go of Kasce's arm. As she heard the door close, she realized that she now had no money inside the stores register. Kasce walked through the back alley a bit and quickly found his way back onto the main street. He entered the store next to Lyra's. "Everything alright in here?"
Valsh:
"The purpose of these test's is to find out what gives Tiers their abilities. From that I wish to harness the variable that creates Tiers." answered Valsh.

Ryker & Harper:
Harper looked up and recognized Lyra's errands runner almost immediately. She remembered hearing his name a few times, but she never really spoke to them. "Everything is fine Kasce. Just had a little trouble with another thief." She gestured to Ryker, who stood. "My new buddy, Ryker handled it pretty well." She grinned a bit. Ryker stood to greet their visitor and dusted his jeans off. When he looked up, however, he vaguely recognized the man who had come in. "Hey... Aren't you the guy from last night? The one who put this hat on my head?"
Kira:
Kira looked over in slight surprise and then smiled. "Well, hi there Sylvia! Welcome back!" She sat up on the bed, happy to have someone distract her from her thoughts. She quickly sheathed her katana and moved her swords off the bed. "Come on in! Ryker went out to the market to get a few things, but he should be back soon."

Nyrivin:
She didn't really ever think about why Tiers could do what they do. She only knew that they could and so they did. "That's an interesting challenge... Though how will me killing people give you that kind of information?" She asked. Sure, finding out why the Tiers have powers would be great, but she really doubted you could give someone the powers of a Tier. Frankly, she didn't really want anyone else to have the powers of a Tier. 'No one could even use them as well as a Tier could anyway...' She thought, believing that would probably be the case if he did manage to complete his goal.
Sylvia:
"Where's your friend?" She asked, climbing in through the window and looking around. 'I'd love to sleep in a room like this...' She thought.

Valsh:
"It will allow me to see what happens when a Tier reaches their full potential." Valsh responded. He really didn't care what Nyrivin thought of his stated purpose. Even if she didn't believe it, there wouldn't be anything that could be done.
Kasce:
He looked over at the person standing in the shop. He hadn't really paid attention to the features of whom ever he'd put the hat on. However he knew what the hat looked like. "There is the potentiality that I placed the hat on your head. It all depends on what would happen if I confirmed or denied it." Kasce answered. He had no idea what had happened with the stalker girl, and if things had gone south, well, Kasce had no desire to get in a fight over it.

Kira:
Kira sighed and stood to stretch before sitting back down. "He's off in the market, getting into god knows what." She laughed a bit. "I think he's getting himself a few new knives since his favorite one broke last time."
Ryker & Harper:
Ryker shrugged slightly. "Honestly, I'd just give you your hat back. I have no qualms with you over anything, so there's no reason for anything else, really." He sighed and took off the hat before tossing it to the guy. "The name's Ryker. Harper said your name was Kasce, right?" Harper glanced over at Ryker a bit. It had been a long time since she had met someone with manners, and it appeared that Ryker had an actual decent set of them. She smiled a bit and chuckled before bending down and taking inventory of a few of her best knives.

Calvarous & Tarune:
Calvarous began flying lower and signalling the rest of the army to do so as well. As they approached the towns walls he began to speed up. It was clear, he was unseen, the army began to move in for the kill. He reached out and moved Tarune to his hands in front of him, his back was to the town. On signal him and the rest of the army smashed through the walls and torched the first building they saw. In a swift motion, Calvarous burst through the wall, turned and placed Tarune back on his back.

Kira:
Kira stumbled a bit as the ground shook, and a rather loud thundering reached her ears. "What the fuck?!" She moved over to the window quickly and looked out. Flames. Dragons. This shit was NOT happening. With a growl, she turned and grabbed her swords and strapped them to her sides. The next thing she grabbed was her bag. "Sylvia, grab Ryker's bag please! We need to find him and fast!" This attack was coordinated, she could tell. Everything was running too smoothly. There was no doubt in her mind that it was the Verum Reges. She faintly wondered why they were attacking here, but decided not to dwell on it.
Harper & Ryker:
Harper yelped in surprise as the explosion rocked her to the side, but Ryker steadied her. A chunk of the wall came crashing through her store a moment later and Harper's eyes narrowed. "My store!" Ryker was more worried about what was going on outside, and he swiftly grabbed a few knives. A burning smell caught his attention, and he stopped for a moment. Fire. The shop had caught fire from a nearby building which had been lit. He turned to Harper. "Grab whatever you want to save, Harper! This place is gonna be coming down in a few minutes!" Ryker stopped for a moment as a pair of knives caught his eye. The grip had brass knuckles around it which had been sharpened, and the blades were a decent length and seemed sturdy. He grabbed them and turned to Kasce. "Wanna see what the hell's going on?"

With a nod Kasce turned to Harper. "Get Lyra please." He said before turning to Ryker. "Go on ahead and lead the way." He said getting ready for any possibilities that would or could occur.

Calvarous & Tarune:
Calvarous launched off the ground and spectated in the air for a moment before looking over at Tarune, they both nodded. Calvarous landed on the ground, creating a crater in the pavement. he walked toward the tall building that stood in front of them, when he thrust his tail around smacking into the side of the building. He could see the building start to collapse to the side. Calvarous looked at Tarune and said, "Your turn." He placed her on the ground and flew above her as she ran down the street. she drew her sword, the runes began to glow blue as she sliced civilians and watched the cuts freeze on contact.

"So I'd be stronger by the end of this or something?" She asked, intrigued by this. No harm in getting stronger, even if she was already a master at using her controls. If only she didn't need Tier state to use them on demand...
Sylvia:
Her face adopted a look of terror when she heard the roars of dragons and chaos breaking out in the streets. She did as she was told and quickly grabbed Ryker's bag and followed Kira out of the building, and into the streets filled with panicking civilians.

Kira:
She looked around with wide eyes, before she snaps out of it and grabs Sylvia's hand. "Let's go!" Kira snatched her a bit closer and faced her palm to the ground as she had the previous night. Soon, they were running through the air, and she was looking frantically through the screaming crowds for Ryker. "Let me know if you see him Sylvia!"
Ryker:
He nodded at Kasce and they walked outside. Ryker was surprised at the amount of carnage he was seeing. He watched as the townspeople were slain mercilessly, and he found himself sickened by it. He turned quickly and looked at Kasce. "We need to get the hell out of here. NOW."
Harper:
With angry grumbles, she ran next door into Lyra's store. "Lyra! Grab what you need the most, and get the hell out of here! The town is being attacked and we need to get the hell out of here!" Harper slung her bag up onto her back with a loud clang. She grunted slightly at the force of the weapons hitting her back, but it wasn't as bad as it could've been.

Sylvia:
Flying through the air freaked her out a bit, but she dealt with it as best she could. She nodded at Kira and used her sharp vision to try and spot Ryker. It only took half a minute or so to spot him down in the streets. "Kira, there!" She called, pointing at Ryker's position. She also noticed Kasce with him too, and hoped he could be saved too.

Valsh:
"Yes, though have no illusions that you will no longr have a need for your Tier State. Some of these fights these fights may even call for you to use it." Valsh responded. He was slightly bored, but he dtill needed to pay attention. No need to give too much away.
Lyra:
She jumped as Harper burst into the shop. She stood and turned to face Harper who looked worried angry and stressed. Without waiting to be told again, Lyra ran into the work shop area and grabbed some of her tools along with various epectronic components. Last she grabbed a sort of pyramid type object and what appeared to be a hand gun. These were wrqpped up and gently placed in the bag. "Ok. So what's going on?" She asked turning to Harper.
Kasce:
"I agree entirely hat man." Replied Kasce. The scene before him wasn't as shocking or disturbing as Kasce thought it should have been. Still he knew what was happening before him and knew that needed to head to port town. "Lets get going." Kasce said tapping Ryker on the shoulder and going back to Lyras house.

Kira:
She looked where Sylvia gestured and sure enough, Kira saw him. Ryker was standing with someone and moving toward a building. "Ryker!" She put them back on the ground and ran over to him, pulling Sylvia along with her. "Ryker, what's going on?!"
Ryker:
He had nodded at Kasce and had started to follow him when he'd the all too familiar voice of Kira. Ryker turned in time to her land with Sylvia and sprint over to them. "The town is under attack. No doubt it's Verum Reges. We've got two more people we need to get before this place comes down." He nodded at Kasce. "Get your friend. I'll watch your back."
Harper:
She glanced at Lyra. "I'm pretty sure the Verum Reges are attacking the town, but why, I'll never know. What I DO know, is that my damn shop is burning down and yours is gonna be next. There are freaking dragons everywhere and people are getting slaughtered out here. We need to leave. NOW." Harper was extremely upset about all of this. Not to the point where she wanted to cry or anything, just mostly angry. She had worked her entire life to get that shop, and now it was gone. She felt like ripping a few dragons apart now.... Though that, of course, was easier said than done.

Kasce & Lyra:
Kasce ran into Lyra's store grabbed his bag and put it on fully while moving into the kitchen where he grabbed both Lyra and Harper as his shadow detached from ghe floor and smashed the back door. Pulling both Harper and Lyra along, Kasce re-entered the main street. "Time to go." He said before running down the street.

"Yeah, I figured that I'd still need Tier state." She replied, only wishing she didn't. Then she'd truly be someone to fear. "Alright, well is there any other important things I need to know now?" She asked, fidgeting in her chair.
Sylvia:
She followed Kasce and matched his speed without to much effort. "Why are they attacking this place?" She asked loudly, allowing Kasce to hear her over the roars and screams. All she could see in the sky was dragons flying around, shotting jets of flame at buildings. One even set a few houses on fire just a block behind them. This was insane, but she had to stay calm.

Harper:
She yelped a bit in surprise as Kasce pulled her down the street and she turned her head to yell back. "Ryker! Let's go!" Harper ran on her own now, the bag of weapons on her back digging in slightly.
Ryker:
He turned in time to see Kasce and the others running down the road. He groaned and grabbed Kira's wrist. "Let's go!" Ryker quickly turned and started dragging Kira as he ran to catch up with the others. Everything was on fire around him, people were screaming and running... It reminded him of something from a really long time ago.

Valsh:
"There is a chance you may die and we need to preform a medical procedure before we get started. Other than that, the only left to say is to remember that agreed to this and need to stick to it." Valsh said standing up and walking towards Nyrivin. Fire flicked up from the floor, wrapping around Valsh. As he stopped next to Nyrivin the flames parted revealing Valsh who no longer looked like a child, but instead now looked to be an adult close to Nyrivin's age and a foot taller than her, his suit having grown too. "If you turn against me or the Verum Reges you will die, but only after I have destroyed every reason for you to live." Valsh warned in a kind cheerful voice.
Kasce:
"Don't know. However I do know where we need to go." he yelled back in reply. There really seemed to be no reason for the attack, though the image of Tego smiling silently made Kasce feel he should know.

Harper, Ryker and Kira:
Harper looked back at Kira and then glanced at Ryker. "Friend of yours??" Ryker turned and looked at Harper for a moment, still running. "Yeah, she's my travel buddy." He grinned slightly. "She's an annoying little shit too." Kira glared at him slightly. "Now is NOT the time Ryker! More running, less talking!" Her eyes darted around to all the destruction and she watched a building start to crumble, and if it did, it would block their way. "Look out!" With a quick step, she moved Harper aside and faced her palm towards the building, sending it falling in the other direction with a burst of wind. She managed to keep pace with whoever else with they were running with.

Kasce & Lyra:
The shouting from behind was distracting. At the call to look out Kasce and Lyra turned to see a chunk of a nearby building fall. Before either could act, the chunk was pushed away by Kira. Kasce made a mental note. As he did he caught sight of Tego sitting on a block pointing up. A glance reveiled a dragon flying above them. Without a second thought Kasce turned to the left sharply and braced his right shoulder in front of him aiming at the house door in front of him. Kasce bashed into the door and, with the help of the shadows inside the house, burst through the door. Lyra followed him inside and helped Kasce steady himself before turning around to make sure those behind entered the building too.
Valsh:
With a smile he walked past Nyrivin. "Never said that had to work for us. I only said that going against the Verum Reges is a highly bad idea. For now take a walk around the castle. Try not to get into trouble." Valsh responded, while leaving the room.

Harper, Ryker and Kira:
Ryker was the one to notice Kasce and Lyra turning into the building and he grabbed Harper's hand and Sylvia's wrist and steered them that way as well. Kira had seen them enter through the now broken door and followed. She growled slightly. "How the hell are we getting out of here?" Ryker was vaguely wondering the same thing, though he decided not to voice it. Harper glanced around and huffed, a bit out of breath. "Well, I doubt they'll just let us walk out of here. Doesn't seem like their way of playing." She focused on Kasce and Lyra. "You guys got a plan of some kind?"

Nyrivin:
She watched Valsh leave and grumbled quietly. "If I don't work for you I should just leave...". She wondered what she would do if she did leave, probably go look for Kira. She sighed and walked out of the room. 'I'll stay, and see what comes of these tests.' She thought, walking down a hallway. She decided to look for something important, maybe what that man was doing when he said he was going to rally his troops. After half an hour creeping around the castle, she came across another room with papers on separate rosters, probably telling people where they were assigned. She looked through them, most of them telling what city they were to go to. 'Maybe that meant an attack, or something...' She thought, continuing her search. She came across one of the last rosters, which said they were heading to the town she had just been to. The town, that Kira was in. "Oh, shit..." She whispered to herself, quickly exiting the room. A man walked around the next corner to her right, and saw her just after she closed the door. "Hey, don't go in there." He growled, walking over to her. He gave her a shove and stared her down. She returned the stare, and walked past him, smacking her shoulder into his on purpose. 'I need to find that Valsh.' She thought, searching the castle more attentively.
Sylvia:
She tried to think straight through all this mess. So much going on around her, and all of it terrible. She looked out the window, and saw the flames in the distance over buildings. She looked down and saw the dead bodies that littered the streets. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped, but she shook her head and turned away, swallowing slightly. She noticed her hat had flew off while she was running, but she didn't care. She decided she'd let her tail out to in case she needed to balance.

Calvarous & Tarune:
Calvarous watched the group as they fled, focusing his attention to Kasce, who had lead the group out. "Heh." he chuckled, remembering a bit of the past. He then swooped down and got Tarune. "Mission complete." he said, withdrawing his troops from the ruins. They were out of the town in the blink of an eye.
Sceare:
There was thick black smoke in the distance, but he averted his eyes trying to focus on himself only. He began to see the gates of Port town. He grumbled at that moment, 'Damn, I can see Port town, but its so far away. Sometimes I hate having a hawk's eyes.' he thought.

Kasce & Lyra:
"The plan was quick cover. If you didn't notice there was a dragon directly above us. This house also has three exits. So that gives us an advantage cause they don't know which one we're going through." Kasce started in reply. " Besides they're leaving." he could hear the sound of wing beats getting further and further away. "I still think we should leave. No way of telling what they plan on doing here." Lyra chimed in. She didn't really feel like going back to find out if the shop was still up. It would be too painful to see it shattered. Even more so to see all of her inventions destroyed. "I say we go to Port Town still. If we get there, than we can get help from the Knight soldiers stationed there." Kasce suggested.
