Ryker, Harper, & Kira: Harper frowned slightly. She had noticed the dragon, but instead of seeking cover she had been more intent on finding a way to gut it. She stayed silent, though. She too, could hear the threat retreating. Kira sighed. "I agree. Port Town would likely be a better option than sticking around here." Her eyes narrowed a bit as she thought about numerous possibilities in her mind. She found herself hoping Nyrivin was ok and safe at wherever she was. Ryker nodded. "I think leaving would do us a lot more good than staying would. Kira and I have some supplies that should last us until Port Town."

Nyrivin: "You!" She snarled, storming up behind Valsh, after finding him in the courtyard. "Why are there attacks going on? Why is Old Town being attacked?" She asked, sounding angry. She thought about what Valsh would think when he heard that she knew, probably snooping places she shouldn't be. But if Kira was in danger she at least wanted to know what was going on, and if she could, try and save her. Nyrivin wasn't the protective type, but Kira was more of a friend than anyone else in her life.
Sylvia: "Not exactly how I imagined we'd depart from this town..." She said, backing away from the window when she was sure that the attackers were leaving. "So, say we get to Port Town... Where to then?" She asked, looking a little shaken up from the shock of the attack.

Kasce: With a slight sigh he answered. "Stay there I guess. Unless we can get through the portal. Which may be closed due to the attacks. If we can get through the portal, we have a town off to the west, with a city only a short while away from that. So until than, we should just get going and decide when we get there." Kasce grabbed his back pack and looked through the window. "Now's the time to go." He said, as he proceeded to climb out.
Valsh: "I knew there would be more questions." Valsh said whilst turning to face Nyrivin. He was still looked like an adult. "So you saw that? I find it interesting that you are concerned with Old Town, yet you mention no others. This is even more interesting since when we checked your background, before contacting you, you had no residence and were just migrating from place to place." He said with a smile. This conversation was going to be fun, this was clear. Whether or not this would lead to a fight remained to be seen. "As to why Old Town was attacked, the answer is simply chaos. The Verum Reges goal is to cause a war between Earth and Oblitus Regni. Than when the war is over we move in and take out the weekend victor. Then we deal with the Knights. Old Town starts the much needed chaos. If people are worrying about more attacks, they ignore what they should be paying attention to, which is us. Main benefit of being a secret organization. Does this answer your question?" Valsh finished with a bit of a sly tone.

Kira sighed and ran a hand through her. "Man, and everything seemed like it was going so good, too... This fucking sucks." She continued her grumbling as she followed Kasce through the window. She wasn't happy at all. She had managed to find Nyrivin, which was the highlight of her life at the moment, and then lose her again within the span of a day, and now, the town was destroyed. Kira vaguely wondered if she was bad luck. Harper chuckled a bit as she watched Kira climb through the window, grumbling all the way. She turned to Ryker. "Is she always like this?" Ryker sighed and nodded. "Yes, she is... She's as hard headed and stubborn as they come, but she's loyal and she's a skilled fighter." He lowered his voice, "And don't tell her I said this, but she makes a good travel buddy sometimes too." He grinned slightly, since he always told everyone she was an awful traveling companion. Harper chuckled a bit and followed Kira out through the window. Ryker looked over to Lyra and smiled, holding out his hand. "Would you like a hand? Not saying you couldn't do it yourself, of course, I just felt like offering." He knew Kira, Sylvia and Harper would have no problems, but he hadn't talked to the other woman in their party of six yet.

Calvarous & Tarune: Calvarous slammed into the ground on the courtyard, causing the area to shake for a second. The rest of the army disbanded and headed to their locations. Calvarous placed Tarune on the ground and changed back. They walked up toward the gate. "It's been a while since you were in that form, Valsh." said Calvarous. Tarune nodded as a greeting toward both of the others.

Nyrivin: "No it doesn't. Old Town is just an isolated town with no real form of communication, at least not that I've seen. Why would you attack a small, unimportant town when you could attack something like Port Town." She shot back, ignoring the new arrivals. She had no real rational explanation for why she was acting this way, since she didn't even know how she felt about Kira. Sure she was probably the reason but she didn't know why she would care so much.
Sylvia: She followed Kira through the window, looking up at the sky just to be sure. Just then, she thought she saw a pale figure standing amongst the ruins of a burned down house. "Huh..?" She raised a brow, but to her confusion, the figure vanished after as Sylvia blinked. "What the..."

Lyra: She walked over to the window without answering and jumped through effortlessly. "Thank you for the kind offer, but I already seem to be outside, while you are inside. So I think I should be the one offering you assistance." She responded in a kind tone holding out her hand with a smile. She was looking forward to see how the man would react.
Valsh: "You're right it has been a while. Our guest is upset about the attack on Old Town, if you can't see. She's even gone as far as saying that Port Town is a better target." Valsh replied to Calvarous with a chuckle, making sure to return the greeting. "The answer to your latest question, well you already answered it. Why would an organization that hides itself from all public light, attack a large number of small towns. There are countless rebel factions all over Oblitus Regni. They get the blame and our next move give's them an ally. After all isn't it more interesting to control things from behind the curtains than to play the leading role. If you're behind the curtains any mistake you make is hidden, in the lime light it's open for all to witness." Valsh continued looking at Nyrivin. "Everything I do has a point. Even how old I look. As for Port Town. That's a good target, and a good suggestion. So you'll be going to help the fight there. When you get back, is when we'll start the tests. You leave in in a few days, so be ready please." Valsh commented as he turned to join Calvarous and Tarune. "So tell me about the attack. It'll save you a lot of time."
Kasce: He watched as the others climbed through the window after him. Sylvia's audible confusion caught his attention. He looked in the direction that she was, unable to see anything other than burning and broken buildings. "What is it?" he asked moving over to her in the hopes of seeing what had confused her.

Nyrivin: She opened her mouth to respond, but Valsh went off and talked to his colleagues. "Whatever, fine." She grumbled, waving her hand in dismissal. Kira would be fine, she's been through a lot. Nyrivin was also a bit relieved she'd have a way to get leave Valsh behind. With Port Town far enough away, she could leave for a while and get out of sight. Then, she'd go and find Kira. She walked back inside the castle, clinging to the idea that Kira made it out of Old Town. Another very bright hope arose, as well. If Kira were to survive, she'd either go to two places. Back through the portal she came from or to Port Town. Nyrivin would only have to find Kira in the middle of the attack, and run off with her. Valsh also creeped her out, and she saw no real reason to risk her neck for someone like that. She doubted he'd come after her, since she didn't seem to be important. From the sound of it, all he needed was a Tier.
Sylvia: "Uh, nothing... I think. Thought I saw someone over in that building." She replied, pointing to the burned down building just ahead. "Probably just seeing things."
(And now, because I forgot about her for so long, Becky! I left off at an important part for her too...)
Becky: "What's happening here?" Asked Becky, trying to look confused. She still didn't know whether her CO knew that she had been a part of the gun smuggling. Her CO turned and narrowed her eyes. "Why aren't you at your post?" She asked, shaking her head. "Never mind, this fellow was trying to steal our weapons." She said, turning around and looking at the man. The man glanced at Becky, looking like he needed help. Becky was wearing her gloves, so all she needed to do was grab the gun on back of the pickup truck and shoot her CO, and kill the man as well. She'd have to make it look real when others came to investigate, so she couldn't move bodies around. She walked over and leaned against the truck, looking down at the man. "Well, he's not gonna have a good day is he?" She asked idly, waiting for a chance to grab the gun. Her heart rate rose when her CO moved away, facing the building behind them. "No, he's not..." She began, putting her hands on her hips. Becky silently grabbed the gun, quickly cocked it and pointed at her CO. "Sorry about this." She apologized, before pulling the trigger.

Ryker: Ryker blinked once, looking after Lyra. He grinned widely, and took her hand, not really needing her help. He jumped through the window, and landed next her. He chuckled. "I have to say, I wasn't expecting that. I swear, in a little under a whole day, I've met so many new people... And all of them are surprising in some way." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and nodded his head. "Though, I think we should go ahead and go." Ryker was smiling slightly to himself. If he remembered correctly, this woman's name was Lyra. She had definitely caught his attention, but the coat around his shoulders pulled him from it.
Kira & Harper: She looked over and silently observed Ryker and Lyra's interaction with a small smirk. 'This could get interesting~...' Kira sighed though, and stretched. "I agree. Let's get moving. We have a decent walk ahead of us." She hefted her bag a bit higher on her shoulder and stuck one of her hands in her pockets, her glove catching on the fabric of her jeans a bit. She headed off in the direction she knew Port Town was and Harper picked up a pace next to her. "Name's Harper. You?" Kira glanced at her and smiled. "I'm Kira. It's nice to meet you Harper." Harper gestured to her swords. "Those are some nice swords you've got. The next time we stop, you mind if I take a look?" Kira studied Harper, wondering if she planned on stealing them. She noticed the bag over Harper's shoulder and realized. Kira grinned slightly. "Sure, I don't mind." Harper grinned and fixed her gloves before nodding. "Cool."

Calvarous & Tarune: He chuckled, "It went well. The town is in ruins. I even saw an old face, Kasce." he said, remembering the group that had fled. "When I was on foot, I placed an aftermath-bomb inside the capital building... should go off in about an hour." Tarune said. She received the bomb two nights before from the engineering unit in the castle. "The bomb should get rid of survivors." she added.

Becky: "Fuck..." She muttered through her teeth, after the clicking noise sounded from the gun. Her CO turned around to ask a question, but immediately knew what was going on. He didn't hesitate to lunge, and jab quickly at Becky's ribs. His fist hit her with a fair amount of force and caused her to grit her teeth. Her CO was bigger than her, and stronger. Maybe even better trained, so this may not go as she had planned. Becky didn't waste any time and shifted the ground under her CO's foot, making the ground under her right foot slide out to the left. "Woah!" He gasped, trying to catch his balance. With her new advantage she raised her gun and with all her force smashed it into the side of her CO's head. He fell to the ground, dazed but not out of it yet. He rolled to land back on his feet, but ended up hitting to wall in mid roll, smashing his shoulder into the stone wall. As he regained his focus, Becky moved in and swung her leg high at his head. He caught her leg, and thrust in back, causing her to stumble backwards and land on her rear. By the time she knew what was what her CO was upon her and raised his boot, kicking her down flat on the ground. Her got down on his knee's on top of her, throwing a punch at her face. It connected painfully, making her see stars. She couldn't let him keep this up, so concentrated hard. Only a moment later a crunch was heard and a sharp jagged rock slid out of the ground, and right threw her CO's head causing blood to spray out either side of the hole it created. Now the jig was up, sadly, since she had planned to make it look like she killed the attacker after he killed her CO. But now, it looked how it looked. A big bloody hole right threw her CO's skull didn't look like a gun wound, nor was there any gun shot's heard like she had planned. She got up slowly, clutching the side of her head as it throbbed. And as if it wasn't bad enough, the door to the armory opened, revealing the armory guard standing with his gun pointed at her.

Kasce: "Well if you did see someone, their not there now. So come on, we need to get going" He said leading Sylvia away from the destroyed building and in the direction of Port Town. It was certainly not safe to be near the town. As he walked past a collapsed wall, Tego stepped out form the other side of it and began walking alongside Kasce. "I know hat you're thinking and the answer is no. You're the only one that can see or hear me." He said in a childish tone. "Ah but don't worry, I expect no reply. Can't have people thinking your crazy after all. That would do no one any good." Tego continued as he seemed to just start levitating, and spinning around in the air.
Lyra: "So what's your name?" she asked the man walking next to her. She refused to look back at the city, remembering everything that had been destroyed would do no good. Than again, she'd get to rebuild everything that had been broken, so that was at least a positive.
Valsh: At the mention of Kasce's name, Valsh's expression changed. Now he wore a mad grin, and a fire seemed to be lit in his eyes, yet his expression seemed to have a bit of fury in it. 'So he made it. I wonder why he never showed a sign of this. There should have been some news about it.' Valsh thought. "Good work you two. i want you to tell your men the same thing and to get some rest for now." Valsh said.

Ryker: He glanced over at Lyra as she spoke and then returned his eyes to their path. "My name's Ryker. The one with the short white hair is Kira, and I think you already know Harper. I heard Kasce say your name when he sent Harper to get you. Lyra, right?"
Kira & Harper: Kira looked over at Sylvia, and smiled. "Sylvia, I didn't know you had ears~." Harper chuckled a bit and looked over at her as well. "I've been wondering who the other wolf in town was. You can hide ears and a tail but you can't hide scent." She tapped her nose for emphasis and grinned at her.

Sylvia: She smiled and nodded. "Yep!" She replied to Kira, before turning to Harper. "I knew you were here too, though I never thought to go looking for you. Could've if I wanted to I guess, but I normally just like to be alone. A lot of people in this town are no help anyway." She said, feeling a little guilty when she said that about all most of the dead people in this town. Even if they were all grumps, they didn't deserve to die.

Calvarous & Tarune: A slight smirk cracked on Calvarous' face at the sight of Valsh's anger. 'This keeps getting more interesting.' he thought to himself. "I spared his life for you look into." he said. "So is there anything else for us to do?" Tarune said in a warm voice.

Valsh: "As of now, just relax. Have fun and enjoy yourself. This is a good day, today. We have begun our campaign and it won't stop for anything." Valsh replied. The fact that Kasce was alive, wouldn't leave him alone. How to deal with this would take thought.
Lyra: "That would be correct. My name is indeed Lyra and I do know Harper. " Lyra responded, looking at Ryker, noticing the hat on his head. "I'm not sure how you kept the hat on, but it doesn't seem to fit your demeanor."

Ryker: Ryker chuckled a bit and pulled the hat off. "Yeah, I'm not a big fan of hats, but I figured I might as well keep it in case I ran into the person it belonged to. In this case, Kasce." He turned and passed the hat to Kasce. "Here. I believe this is yours."
Kira & Harper: Kira sighed and hefted her bag a bit higher on her shoulder. "So, Sylvia, you gonna stick with us past Port Town? Harper, you?" Harper nodded. "I don't have anywhere else to go or anything else to do, so yeah. I'll stick with you guys." She grinned slightly to herself.

Kasce & Lyra: "Ah. So you two met. Is he another friend of yours?" Lyra asked out of curiosity. "Thanks." Kasce replied, taking the the hat and putting it on. It felt comfortable to be wearing a hat while walking. "No. He only had my hat because I had unwillingly picked up a stalker and wahted to get away. To which I apologize if a sort of Gothic style girl bothered you yesterday." Kadce explained, facing Ryker for the apology.

Sylvia: She smiled and nodded. "Yep, I'm coming. That was the plan." She replied, before hearing Kasce's apology. She knew that must have been Kira's friend, Nyrivin, but she thought she'd let Kira take that one.

Ryker: Ryker sighed. He had no doubt that the person who'd been stalking Kasce had been Nyrivin. "She didn't bother us actually..." He was waiting for Kira to butt in and he didn't have to wait long.
Kira: Kira tuned in on Ryker's and Kasce's conversation as soon as she heard mention of a gothic looking girl. "Oh, that was probably just Nyrivin." She grinned a bit and chuckled. "She tends to be a bit sadistic. She enjoys freaking out wary travellers in any way she can. It's always been... A quirk of hers. I hope she didn't cause you too much trouble." Kira's grin grew as she spoke to Kasce. He really hoped that she hadn't given him too much of a problem. Otherwise, it could get a bit messy if they ran into each other again if she was around Kasce.

Kasce: "No. She was just creepy. I guess I should consider my self lucky to have missed out on what ever the extent of her sadism is." Kasce responded. Ignoring the chuckling coming from Tego. He could see the tree line only a bit away form where they were. "So if you're all planning on sticking together than where do you plan on going after we reach Port Town."
Valsh: He watched as both Calvarous and Tarune left. With no desire to let his thoughts fester, at least not in an open area, Valsh moved through the castle silently. Clasped in his hand was the key that hung around his neck. After walking through a large portion of the castle, he stopped at a corner. On the other side of the wall, one would find a spire. Tapping the key to the wall, Valsh turned it and grinned slightly at the clicking that followed. The corner split open, revealing a spiraling staircase leading downward. The corner fixed it's self after Valsh had entered and begun to walk down.

Sylvia: She let the others talk and silently walked along side them. Though to her confusion, she thought she saw the same pale figure she saw back in the town and the forests tree line. She squinted her eyes and tried to get a better look at her, but when she had to blink the figure was gone. She didn't like that she had seen this person twice now, it creeped her out.

Kira shrugged. "I want to stay in the area for as long as possible. After 2 years of searching, there's no way I'm losing Nyrivin again. So as long as stays where she's at, I don't want to go further than Port Town if I can help it." She sighed to herself and fiddled with her gloves a bit. Ryker shook his head a bit and looked over at Kasce. "Well, there's your answer. We'll probably stay around Port Town for a bit, see what happens. If anything gets nasty, I'll just drag her through the portal, kicking and screaming if I have to." Kira promptly gave him the finger. Harper laughed. "Oh man, I think I'm gonna like you guys...." She grinned at Sylvia. "What about you Sylvia? Are you gonna stick with us if we stay in Port Town?"

Sylvia: Sylvia snapped out of her thoughts and nodded with a smile. "Yep, I'm a part of the group I suppose, so I go where you guys go." She replied, still a little wary of the figure she had seen disappear.
Becky: She slowly opened her eyes when she awoke, her head ached. "Damn it..." She muttered, barely remembering what had happened after she... "Oh fuck." She gasped, remembering that she killed her CO, and the man she was waiting for. "My last one..." She whimpered. "The last time..." She felt her wrist was bound by a metal shackle, as well as her other one. "At least I can sit down before I die like this..." She sighed, a tear rolling down her cheek. When she was surrounded, a guard must have knocked her unconscious so she could be brought here. It wouldn't take much to figure that she had killed her CO, so they'd execute her soon. She knew escaping would be futile, seeing as how the jail here was guarded well and she was probably being watched right now. She slumped down, and waited.
